If you are looking to read about some of Obi-wan's adventures in Tatooine before his new show comes out this is a great place to start. The stories that focus on Obi are great, however Yoda's story does take up a larger chunk of the book then expected. It is more Obi-wan sharing Yoda's story and Luke's reaction to it then Obi-wan being a part of that story line. Still an interesting read but would have preferred more Kenobi tales.

An amazing start to this high fantasy series. The story is told through different characters but do not let this put you off. The story flows smoothly between them and the writing is amazing! There's magic mysteries fights and even an animal companion you are sure to love even if we aren't entirely use what it is.

As direct PITT descendants we have studied the photo of an 'Unknown Surveyor' which was included in a Hawkesbury Library promotion in August 2021 of Faces of the locals. We are both convinced that this photo IMAGE No. 000500 includes of Clarence Matcham PITT 1869-1920 who worked for many years with his famous father George Matcham PITT Jnr 1837-1912 who worked as a very prominent surveyor in the Hawkesbury and Blue Mts over a period of more than 50 years. George's eldest son John Thomas Matcham PITT had commenced survey work with his father but opted to become a farmergrazier and left the surveying to his younger brother Clarence. The career similarities are one thing but more convincing is the physical and facial resemblances to all of Clarence's 5 brothers in many family photos.
The above photo Image No. 000502 seems to be by the same photographer Frank Rodda in 1890's.
There is a famous Arthur Streeton painting 'Surveyors Camp' which is reported to depict GM Pitt at work with his theodolite beside a similar tent in the Hawkesbury region. Streeton and other painters often accompanied GM Pitt on his survey work.
